Three Cheese Meatloaf
Here’s What You Need:
24 ounces premium ground beef (no more than 20% fat) (best-recipe-scout note: keep that fat content down!), 1 4 to 5 ounce Italian sausage link, 4 ounces premium ground veal, 1 tsp. Salt, ¼ tsp. Black pepper, ¼ tsp. finely minced garlic, 2 cups baby spinach leaves (well chopped), 1 cup finely grated Romano cheese, 1 cup grated Swiss cheese, 1 cup Monterey jack cheese, 2 slices milk-soaked bread (squeezed dry)
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients well; except for the Swiss and jack cheeses.
On plastic wrap laid out on a table, form the meat into a 10” by 12” rectangle. Cover with another sheet of plastic wrap and roll out to approximately 14” by 24”. Pull off the top sheet of plastic wrap and evenly sprinkle meat mixture with the Swiss and jack cheeses.(webmaster note: yummy)
Finally, Roll the meat up as tightly as possible, using the bottom sheet of plastic wrap. Place rolled meat in a baking pan and press down both ends to seal the roulade. In a preheated oven, bake the meatloaf at 275 degrees (F) for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes.
